The CMB has dominated bispectrum constraints since WMAP [@planck2018ix]. Galaxy surveys reach $f_{\rm NL}^{\rm local}$ through scale-dependent bias and are now closing the gap.

Targets for the next decade

$\sigma(f_{\rm NL}^{\rm local}) \lesssim 1$ separates single-field from multi-field production; reaching it is the main goal of upcoming surveys [@meerburg2019; @achucarro2022].
